The Functioning of the Jets Engine

The type of engine used in airplanes to generate speed is called a jet engine. Air is drawn in, compressed, and mixed with fuel. Hot gasses are generated when the mixture ignites, producing thrust that propels the aircraft forward. Since jet engines power a great deal of aircraft, including combat jets and commercial airliners, they are crucial to everyday air travel and quick international flights.
